A 102 second shutter exposure gave me this gift on Friday morning. I was in Jasper and looking for a place to catch sunrise. I was hesitant to head out the Maligne Lake road but so grateful now that I did! I got to Medicine Lake around 45 minutes before sunrise and there was already colour in the clouds so I knew I was in for a show. I patiently waited as the clouds drifted across the sky. It seemed like the clouds were on fire and were giving me all the time in the world to get the photo that I wanted. I ended up shooting here for 2 hours and left with some gems which I will share more of next week!
